you need to find a trucker place and weigh that sucker. I would be curious to see what it weighs.

I am going to weigh it in a week or so, I'll let you the results. It weighed 4340 pounds before.

Definitely looks awesome - glad to see you're taking pics before you wheel it :D. Looking forward to seeing it at Tellico in May (you are going for at least a few days right) - as I want to go over your 4-link and take lots of pics. I'm convinced that's the route I'm heading - just won't get to it before May.

I'm planning to be there for at least half of the week, probably the first half of it. I'll keep you posted as to what our plans are.

I wasn't able to get any pics in Harlan. It was so wet I never took the camera out. Guess I'll have to wait until Tellico next month to get some pics.

The Cruiser did well though. I have a couple of bugs to work out of it, but nothing major.

hey r.k.

man, i would have helped you wash the passenger side of your rig if you needed an extra hand...

looks like some good stuff, how'd she do?

After some breakage issues with my rear axle, I decided to upgrade to 1 tons. I picked up a Dana 60 and 14 bolt for my rig.

I shaved the bottom of the 14 bolt and cut the old spring perches, shock mounts, etc off. Then I took it to PJ at M&M Off-Road in Mocksville, NC (Home) for a truss to mount my current links to.

PJ did an awesome job on the truss for the 14 bolt! He also outboarded my front springs so the Dana 60 would fit.

I'm going to run Ballistic Fab high steer that I got from Carolina Truggies in Charlotte, NC (HOME | Carolina Truggies).

I got all of my axle upgrade parts from Chase Perry at East Coast Gear Supply in Durham, NC (East Coast Gear Supply Gears lockers axle shafts differential rear end repair parts sales service tools raleigh durham NC). He hooked me up with Yukon shafts, 300M u-joints, drive flanges, a LockRight, and a 1350 yoke for the Dana 60 and a 1410 yoke for the 14 bolt.

Here is how it sits now. I still have to redo the steering, driveshafts, brake lines, and build the axles.

been following your build, love your truck! Just wondering what the issue with the rear axle was? Im in the same boat right now and am on the fence on what to do. re-build my cruiser diff or put in a 60 or 14 bolt?

thanks Dan

I broke a rear axle shaft which took out the carrier bearing, and I broke the center pin in the rear.

Great looking Rig!

Thanks!

RK, no issues with the exhaust cooking your butt?

what's the size of the rims & tires?
