Really surprised this hasn’t sold Brian.🤷🏻‍♂️

I'll take this brian, I need more stuff sitting on my workbench.
Don’t worry Evan. At that price, it’s an investment.😉

Thats what i tell myself about every landcruiser part I buy and dont install, which has been pretty much all of them for the past couple of years……. Like the skyjacker springs I bought from you a few years ago, as well as the pertronix ignition and model year ‘80 rebuilt carb that still hasn't had any fuel through it in the 5 years since your rebuilding. If I make it to retirement and the world hasnt destroyed itself through war and i can still afford to buy dead dinosaur juice to propel my 40’s, I’ll have a lot of fun tinkering on and exploring with all these toys.

RE: Dead dinosaur juice. In WW2 in England there were various home brewed fuels you could run a gasoline powered engine with. Need a prepper type to do a thread on carb modifications for alternate fuels. Or just point us to it because most everything exists on MUD already.

I was just telling my wife last week that @D’animal runs at least one of his 40s on two stroke that his co removes from chain saws they’re repairing!

Not to hijack a classified already marked 'sold', but here is a reference to wood gasifiers, past and present.

The fuel did not have much punch and one person described having to get out and push on hills.

The philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer said that we buy books with the mistaken idea that we are also buying the time to read them.

The same goes for Landcruiser parts.😉

Use to think the same thing. Once I retire I'll have the time. That happened well over a decade ago. Still no tire. Yet I still keep buying parts. I still keep finding boxes of parts I've forgotten I had. I have one box unopened from twenty years ago. I know a few of the parts came off my original FJ40 bought in 1974. One is the original spare tire carrier. One of the lugs for the spare was broken. $15 I bought a complete used spare tire carrier from a wrecking yard. Been down hill ever since.

But you can never leave.”

Hotel Landcruiser.😉

I’m doing some routine maintenance on Ruftoys, which will celebrate 40 years of wheeling under my stewardship this month.😊
