This is only the second FJ28VA I've seen, and it's now here in the states. If you've got the cash the FJ Company will restore it for you and you'll be driving one of the rarest Land Cruisers on the planet. These are some great pics of a vehicle that I wondered for years if it really existed.

Note the round rear wheel cut outs on the 28 above and in post #6.

The one in post #3 was taken by Henry ... Venezuela ... that's been around for a LONG time that pic :)

That is an UBER rare cruiser... love to see it go to the museum @cruiserdan

We just obtained a civilian Mega Cruiser. The piggy bank needs a re-fill.

I thought the same thing... Let's take the "Holy Grail" of Land Cruisers and modify it. I looked at the pics and was checking out what was already modified and thinking about how to take it back to bone stock.

Pretty amazing that it was found in Mexico. I didnt even know Toyotas were imported there.

This vehicle looks similar to an old willys from that era.

I just picked up the Kaiser Willys catalog last week and it's surprising how many Land Cruiser parts were modeled after early Jeep parts.
