I need an early starter and front turn signals if they're still there.

Post #6 has a link to a photo album. Front turn signals would've been nice, but no dice. I can't tell from the photo whether that starter is "the big green one" you want or not. Maybe you can tell?

I thought nuclearlemon had dibs on the steering wheel? Otherwise I could have used a the horn cap.

I also thought that nuclearlemon had dibs on the tin cups themselves, and not the masters...I could take the two masters, and the clutch slave if she gets just the tin cups.
?

i don't need wheel, i just think he should grab it. he should also snag the doors as those are unobtanium and someone may need, but they may be too expensive for him to sit on until someone pops up too. same with hood, w/s frame, and top, they look decent, but might be a pricey investment. stupid little thing, but i see one of the drivers seat rear brackets, sure someone could use that.

i would like the heater tho. and if the fuel pump has the primer rod i'll take that. if the filter bowl still has the glass bowl i'll take the bowl

don't see what the front hubs look like. i'm looking for either drive plates or the lever style dualmatics.

Yup...lots of nice stuff that could/should be saved...too bad they are so far...

I was looking at the heater also, but that can wait a little more (I have a rough spare as it is) ...I have other things I need first.

Dang...wish it was closer.

if no one is claiming the doors, I would like the small bug catchers windows from each door, and their seals...

should probably pop in intake and see if it has the rings. those are hard to come by.

Hey all. I went to the junkyard today and pulled some parts. Not all of them, but I will head back next monday.

I will send out messages with part pics

Not sure they are any true after market floor shifter.

John is the expert on those early trannies. I do remember in 1983 after hooking my classmates from high school on 40's, my friend bought a '62 from a nun (actually a convent)......anyhow at that time it was super complete and he decided to convert the side shift to floor and bought the conversion from SOR. Not sure who made them, Toyota?

Wonder what happened to that cruiser..........

Heater and heater core srill available.

How long after he bought it did he covert the tranny? 83 seems a little early for Specter Off Road. More likely Man-A-Fre. I have a old catalog from around 85 and it wasn't much more than a newspaper. I would have to check some of my seventies Man-A-Fre catalogs. I believe there was a conversion kit in those. Not sure if they got them from Toyota or had then made on what I'm guessing was a copy of the original. I do remember on the later three speeds conversion they claim to have sold more than cruisers that were imported with the column shift. In 74 I bought one shortly after buying my first FJ40. Years later I gathered the parts to go back to stock but never did it. If I do end up with a floor shift with a early three speed I know I can do a better job on the tunnel cover after owning a few FJ25s I think I know how they may have done it when they installed them at the factory. The ones that originally came from the factory with a floor shift the side holes were not in side of the case.

I'm interested in the drivers side door lock(complete inside lock and outside lever), brake and clutch master cilinder.
Edit I see someone else wants the masters.

I thought it read husky. A brand I never heard of.

Those were made next door in CO. Was one of the parts that Toyota offered to their dealers. Husky even made a complete soft top and doors back in the sixties. Not sure how many sets of these hubs I got before having one complete set (junk). They made a different design hub later. Looking for one of those hubs. Never seen another set like it. The original owner had one fail and had it replaced. Replacement doesn't have the name case into the handle. If it hadn't been a warranty replacement I bet the old one would have been in the box. In the boxes were the original drive plates.
