TroutRunner: Wimp, playing in the sunshine. Where were you two weekends ago when it was 4 deg F., blowing snow with low visibility and -14 deg F wiith windchill over at Ironton? I was backcountry skiing.

Ha! You sound just like a local Durangotan always bragging about the cold. I lived in Maine, not even cold around here.

2 weeks ago I was at SeaWorld San Antonio. I did sit in the "splash zone" and got sprayed by Shamu! Brrrrrr! That water was cold.

I thought January was colder for about a solid week. We like to ride about 20 miles behind Purg by Graysil and Hermosa peaks. Snow gets so deep, even the sleds can't go. We've done some skiing with the sleds, but the sleds are so much more fun, we don't need to put in the extra effort.

Season is over it appears though, the access roads are turning to mud. Back to the buggy til the passes are clear.

Odds are high that I may have to cancel my registration for this event. I may have to suffer through a week-long trip to Germany and Italy for work. Poor me.

yes...........................I see, I think.

I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to take Danise and the kids and leave a few days early and come home a few days late.

Better plan on taking Danise, otherwise she probably won't let you go. Leave the rug rats with the in laws or a sitter. Onur isn't working so maybe he can do it.

I thought you were the one that told us you were in town for a few days before heading off to Turkey.

I seem to recall the same thing.

Don't worry Onur. Getting old is hopefully something we all do. Though, forgetting what you did an hour ago does suck.
