Yep I did. She ran a little warm on the way back for about 150 miles. Turning 37 inch super swampers is a lot of work driving 80 on stock gears. I think the seller told me they weight in well over 100 pounds a piece. So I backed down to 70'and she ran in the 194 to 204 range. However my battery light came on so I was able stop at the local o'reillys parts store 20 min before they closed. They said the battery need it a charge and the alternator was going out. So I called Dwayne and he told me that I have been driving new cars for way to long and I need to start packing tools :). Anyhow I bought a trickle charger and an extension cord and I'm charging the battery so the hope is ill have enough juice to make it the 7.5 hours home tomorrow. But so far I've been impressed how well it does ride with the lift. All the electrics work. Lockers work hi lo gears work. Transmission shifts smooth. Pretty happy with the purchase as long as I can make it home.....:).

Haha! Very very cool! I'm glad to see that truck in the club! Can't wait to see it in action. Congrats again!

I prob would have picked up a battery. Just in case. At least clean the terminals. And ground wire.

That's a pretty nice find. Is the speedo corrected for the 37s? If not, you are turning significantly faster.

On my 33s, when doing 40, I'm doing 43, and when doing 70, it's about 73ish. Just to give you a heads up.

Congrats Sammy. Now to decide what mods to do.
With those 30s you already have a good step up.

Looks great Sam! Congratulations!

With 37's at 65 I was actually doing 78. I'm going "down" to a 315/75-16 so I can hopefully fit this thing in the garage.

So on mods here is what I was thinking. Mtr's for tires. I'll stick with the stock rims. Protection I was thinking metal tech sliders and skids. General maintenance diff oil tc oil trans oil and reg oil change them all. Possibly coolant? New alternator new engine belts and the po wired in some low voltage cut off switch which I want to re do. General good cleaning of the interior. The exterior was not washed in some time. I did not realize it was black. I thought it was dark blue. I did take off the zombie aluminum roof rack. I'm open to suggestions on what else to do and what other places to look at for sliders and skids any other general maintenance?

Seems like the metal techs are about the best way to go for the 80's. I need a set pretty badly as well (did some pretty good damage to my rocker panels at SMORR).

Did he send along the Tundra wheels with it too?

I like my metaltechs. Can't wait to drag me across a rock. But, with that said, there were some heavy complications with mine. I have been in contact with them since April and it's just now finished. I suggest buying the metaltech sliders first and skipping the OPOR sliders. Thine had fitment issues and had to be sent back. I know they've corrected the issue but still..sucks to be the one that finds out about the issue haha

He did. They are in great shape. But there were only 4. So I would be missing the spare

Thanks for the heads up. Any feedback on these skids?

Nice! Could make back a little $$ selling those and the 37's once you get your 315's on...
