Ok so here are/is the question(s). The one in ga is throwing codes how expensive and how hard is that to fix? I like the way it sits...and looks.

The one in Texas has an oil pan leak owner said they all leak. The front end has less than 500 miles on it few blemishes someone tried to repaint the hood has never been off road and was his wife's daily driver for the past 4 years.

That seems like a pretty damn good deal for something that is basically ready to go minus a few small improvements.

I know it. I was thinking pretty hard about parting with savings on that one, and then seeing what I could get for mine on the market. But after all I put mine through this weekend, and having her just smile back at me (maybe with a few missing teeth) I'd have a really hard time parting with it!!

Well I'm flying to Houston on Saturday. Wish me luck.

Awesome, good luck Sammy!!!! Might remember to hit DMV and get a temporary tag for the ride home if it works out.

Wow, you move fast. Nice looking rig.

Don't be afraid to walk away if it is not as advertised. I have traveled to get a few rigs and have to keep telling myself that if it is not right, I need to either get the price reduced or walk away.

Oh, yes, they all leak oil. More of a seep from the oil pan, and a true drip from the front main/pulley seal, oil pump gasket, and distributor O-ring. We swapped two sets of them on our last wrenching weekend.

Oil pan is harder to get to as I have read. I have not tried to replace one yet. When I pull the motor out of the supercharged one, I will find out.

Thanks Kelley. He was upfront about everything. It's a drip from the oil pan gasket. So nothing major. I'll keep u guys posted.

If you have not already. Go to Slee.com and read everything.

If you run a thicker oil like Rotella 15w40, that oil leak will all but disappear. With that said, I still keep some cardboard under mine.

Quick update. It is 4am and last night my local airport canceled my flight out of Columbia to chi because the local plane broke down. So i have to drive to stl and fly out of there. I have not figured how I will get my car back from stl yet..... I guess I'll have plenty of time to think about it. :).

Tiger Express shuttle is fairly reasonable to get to STL. I would pick you up on my way thru to IL but it would mean all night drive back from Houston as I will be passing thru Columbia at about 10 AM on Sun.

I know peeps in columbia u can hang with and talk trucks. U met three or 4 at the event

Thanks. Just got to Dallas. Next flight is delayed. Will see
