FJ 55 bumper

Can someone please tell me if the stock fj40 bumpers fit 55's? I am trying to buy my first pig and have an extra bumper and just thought I would ask if it will fit before I sell it. Thanks, Matt

I think the 55 frame rails are 10 mm wider up front.

I am not sure if you are talking front or rear bumper, stock or not...

I'm talking about the 78 fj55 you listed for your friend in the Seattle area, I have not heard from him in a couple of days and wanted to get this thing finalized so I can prepare to make the trip to pick it up.

I just know him from the Pig list on Birfield. I think he takes a few days to respond.

I have not bought it yet, but hopefully he will email me pics of the floors and under the seats and other stuff since I'm like 2500 miles away or something like that I want to be sure I'm aware of everything before I take off on a 3 day drive to get there and be pissed cause I did not ask all the questions before hand but, I totally plan on buying it as long as the other pics are what I expect. Have you seen this truck in person? What do you think about it?

You probably know more about this Pig than I do at this point.
