Dibbs on the driver seat. I'll pm ya!

DEFinitely interested in the passenger seat. Just gotta figure out when I can get out there. Maybe somebody I know who's closer can snatch it up for me. Hmmm.

So is the 64 a removable or non-removable top. I thought the driver's seat on the non-removable top was the same as the FJ40 with the tool box and the removable top just had a different frame. Cushions I thought were the same. My 65 LWB cushions are all the same as the FJ40s except for the bottom cushion on the passenger's seat which is wider.

63 and earlier FJ40 driver's seat was tube frame that needed a 10mm wrench to adjust. 64 FJ40 switched to the design that stay basically the same thru 72. I thought the FJ45 seat design changed with the removable tops giving a little more leg room, 64/65? So when did the removable tops start and did the seat design change?

I'm looking for the panel the covers the frame on the driver's seat if anyone has one.

Panel for driver's seat back? I think I've got one somewhere. I think it has a piece of vinyl welt on it to that I could send to Shane! Just have to remember where I saw it.

Thanks Mark not looking for the back panel of the driver's seat. The piece I'm looking for bolts to the seat bracket the bolts to the floor. Looks kinda like the side of the under seat tool box. But if I remember correctly it has one or two ribs that run from front to back and the FJ40 tool box run up and down.

Did the early FJ45s have red seat covers like the early FJ40s? I know SOR has early style seat covers but they are grey not red. While I like the grey color better it's not what you want if your restoring back to original. So was it in 68 that Toyota changed to grey or was it earlier?
