Why does that VIN start with a "3" denoting a 1963 vehicle - which is no shock since 1963 was when this body style was made, but the tag shows 1965? Something's a little fishy there. Other than that, she looks nice.

@FJ45VTOZ does it have the 5" chassis extension at the rear cab mount? Every factory bed I've seen here is a 62 model, by 64 I'd say fixedcabs would have been all trayback originally until the long wheelbase beds come out, but I do like your idea of fabricating a replica factory bed as I have thought the same for one of my 63 models

It doesn't look like a steel roof in the photo of the black '64.@Searcher356 I'm not aware of any fj45 pickups that came with fiberglass roofs, they did change the shape of the rear of the roof at the end of 64 with the folding windshield and removable back section
