^ That's the one I ordered, in the gray color. I'm happy with it so far. Funny how a plastic gizmo like that can make quite a difference in driving comfort. Extreme cold temps will give the plastic support a run for its money, we'll see how it survives next winter.

Nice find, I ordered mine today.

Glad to see I have bridged the gap between drivers and their arm rests.

That's the funny thing, it actually is a pretty decent item, I just recovered the top of the arm rest along with my center console and seats to perfectly match everything.

How do you remove the factory cup holder that is attached to the center console?

For my solution, it's not necessary. Otherwise, it's easy to remove, but it's easier to remove the console first. Remove the screws, tilt up, comes right out.

I don't remember if it was the only option but as Musthave ^ suggests, I took out the entire console to remove the cup holder. Seemed like a small project grew quickly for a silly cup holder but it was simple enough, and kind of fun to see the interior without the console. It also gave me an opportunity to lay down some wide foam weather stripping on the steel for additional sound-proofing. Not sure if it did any good but surely it didn't hurt. Enjoy your arm rest! (I'm still very happy with mine.)

The factory cup holder can still be useful. I have a mic holder attached to the backside and have seen people cut out a hole in the center to slide a flashlight in.

I simply lowered the factory cupholder so that I can still use it when I flip up the additional armrest.

The armrest that I offer doesn't require you to remove the factory cupholder (of sorts) on the left of the console.
