Just one more reason not live there. I just wish the cal people would stay there
I am born and raised in calif. and 95% of the people I meet hear are from some where else. when I was a kid you could not see across the valley let alone try to breathe. That was in the 1960&70 now the valley is clear as much as I hate it smog control is working

You guys are living under a rock you may not have smog regulations but all the cars have 5o state smog emissions so in fact you are benefiting from smog control. just get behind a pre smog car or truck and you will realize just how nasty they really are. Yes smog checks suck but they ensure clean air for are children and grand children. And its California not cal or cali

Are these still being made? Would love to pickup a pair!!

I chuckled at this because it's true.

I was driving my 59 Studebaker and we had some yahoo pull up beside us and very snottily said: "What kind of gas do you run in that?" I told him: "Just non-ethanol premium!"

I realized that he had been behind me sitting in traffic. The car runs a bit rich (I need to adjust the carb a bit) and it gets kind of ripe when just idling. Drive-thrus get to be a bit thick when idling through.

I have been amazed by photos of LA in recent years and compared them to similar photos of LA back in the 70's and it is clearer now than it was then, even though there are 4x as many cars.

Oh, I meant in CA.
