Nothing wrong with the way that Bezel was mounted. The holes are placed so the Bezel can go either way. In fact, some of the sale brochures have pics of the Bezel mounted that way. it never ceases to amaze how the Bezel police can be so concerned about that because its not stock, but its OK to put lockers, lifts, SOAs, big tires, V8's, custom bumpers and other stuff thats not stock.
By the way, I have 33 inch tires, a 4inch lift, HEI dizzy, Custom bumper, tuffy console and an alternatly oriented Bezel. yet the only thing I ever hear is, "Your Bezel is upside down, its not mounted stock."
I love the way Woody's rig looks and its a cruiser, doesn't look stock to me.
I only responded because 1974 FJ40 asked.
Have your bezel installed the way you like it. I like mine the way it is because it irks certain people. Plus, it give me a place to mount my License plate where it won't get smashed.
