So let me get this straight, some of you guys won't put this tire on your rig because......you don't like the name? They have barbed wire side bitters? Even though they have no bad reviews and actually are a good performing mud tire? They are a probably the best price for their performance too. So what I am seeing is that people are really worried about looks and not performance, sure if you can afford a better name brand 'D'rated tire on your cruiser (guess that really helps for all the heavy loads you probably carry), then I would get it too. I am not trying to start a pissing war, I just read this thread and its seemed ridiculous. I bought my HDJ81 on the island 2 years ago and the PO put a brand new set of 315's fierce attitudes before he sold it to me. I thought they looked like they were trying to be a tough tire. Well I have wheeled them through RiverShiver, Moab and all over BC and Alberta and never had a problem. They are really quiet on the road. I have put almost 40k on them and they still read over 80%. I have them just as a spare set now, but have a healthy respect for them. Rant over

not to continue a pissing war, but...

there's a big difference between researching tires and going out and buying them, from buying a truck with the tires already on and discovering they're ok.

Truthfully, would you have gone out to buy a new set of these when you bought that truck if it had needed tires?

Frankly they'd sell more without extra crap on the sides, it makes them look like a chinese knockoffs, and THAT is what makes people judge them by looks.

Truthfully, no I would not have bought them, but buying a more expensive, proven tire isn't going to burden me financially. I think they are a good tire for a even better price, even though the barbed wire is stupid. If you ignore the barbed wire and name they are pretty good looking tire. I have some pics on my build page here

Admit it Ryan, you are a barbed wire lover, and the tires match your sholder tatoo!:hillbilly:

Fair enough, good points.

Take into consideration this is a clubhouse forum you have posted in. We are often a little more liberal with our comments here, we feel we are among friends and a little more free to make silly comments and poke fun at topics with the comfort that the "internetus ambigutius" persons wont find us here. Every once and a while a "searcher" will stumble across a thread here and start ranting which usually results in threads like this. Its all in good fun though.
They might be good tires..... might not. I'm still not buying anything that has flames, pixies, lions, wires, skulls or white writing on them. Thats just how I am.

I feel "tire performance" and "tire durability" are two different topics, the latter being far less discussed or reviewed.
Show me a Fierce Attitude that can take a lick like this and survive... then and only then will Ill consider not taking the p*ss out of them. LOL.

Well this Searcher gets the hint. I don't even know why i am defending a tire that I wouldn't own besides getting them with my truck.
