I've owned my '94 LC for almost 2 years now, and I'm still loving it. It replaced my totalled '90 2WD 4Runner, which I also loved. I'm wondering, though, if I really need this LC. I don't 4 wheel drive, but do some camping now and then. I almost feel that my LC should be in the hands of a wheeler, it has lockers. Don't get me wrong, I love the extra room, and the feeling like I'm driving a tank, but I wonder if it's overkill. 90 % of the time, my wife drives this vehicle shuttling the kids around, so I love that they are protected in case of an accident. Just some thoughts.:hhmm:

If you have ever seen pics of these beasts in accidents, you will keep it forever for your wife and kids! Nuf said.

Agreed. Heck, my 4Runner even did well in an accident, with my wife and kids in it.:)

Would 4k make the guilt go away??? I had to ask...

No, but maybe 6k would.;)

It's time to use this guilt of yours as motivation to go wheeling with us.

Last time I went to Cleghorn a stock, locked 80 went everywhere the rest of us on 35s and 37s went.

You can build these things on the cheap if you are patient, save for vital items and look for used parts in the classifieds. It has taken me almost 6 years to get it where I am now but I have been wheeling it since day 1.

I started with tires, a Slee skid plate and a tow strap since I am not fully locked. The skid plate will save you big time on the trails.
