I just pull my engine. Putting in a lq9. I am looking to sell the engine and transmission. I really prefer to sell it as a whole engine/transmission or at least as major pieces. I don’t really know prices but a lot of what I put in is new oem genuine Toyota parts. Please pm me and we can talk.
Engine issues – I believe the bearing somewhere in the bottom end. Transmission had no issues but it probably needs to be rebuild (I was going to do it but I am changing the direction in what I want to do with my LC).
~240,000 miles
Engine was rebuilt with all genuine OEM Toyota parts. I have photos and receipts. I you want something I will give it at a discount to what I bought it.
Fixed then Drove it ~1500 miles no issues and ran great (really great). Then something happened to the engine. I won’t know for sure until I open the oil pan. I think it’s a bearing, the trucker (he has a race shop) who trucked it back home thinks it’s the bearing. I will probably go the LS route now.
Everything OEM new unless stated.
Cylinder head cleaned, no cracks, new seals (was taken to a machine shop)
Intake manifold cleaned – inside and out.
new radiator
new steering pump
new water pump
new main wire harness
vacuum lines replaced
new fuel filter
new distributor cap
new spark plug lines
new fuel injectors
new Fuel pressure regulator (on it not oem but I have the oem one just not installed)
new 2* knock sensors
new crank shaft sensor
new thermostat
new temp sensor
new cylinder head bolts
new spark plugs
new alternator (rebuild denso)
new park neutral safety switch
all gaskets and seals were replaced.
*not installed but New*
I also have a complete engine rebuild kit minus the pistons and bearings.
New fuel pressure regulator.
New oil temp sensor.
Rear main seal
denso rebuild starter 2.0Kw
