Yeah I saw that and called them and they said that they are out of stock and not getting anymore :(
The Slinky springs are no longer manufactured. Your only option is used, which are available occasionally.

Hmm I might take that into account then. I'm planning on running 37's but I'm not too worried in doing a bit of trimming.

I was leaning toward the ICONS/Kings as well simply because I would like the ability to adjust valving as necessary. I've pretty much saved up and willing to spend between $2-3k on a decent setup.

The Icon Kit alone 3-4 years ago was 2,300issh on sale. That was just the tip of the iceberg. Tack on another 3k to do it right with some delta radius arms, adjustable pan-hard rod up front, delta rear panhard bracket, endlinks and maybe some rear lower control arms to get your pinion angle correct in the rear….oh forgot about a DC drive shaft up front.

The term “kit” is kind of misleading.

No, I’m not sponsored by delta. Yes, there are slightly cheaper ways but…..

With the slinky suspension the legend that it is, why do you suppose they stopped making them?
the distributor in Australia was very unreliable. It was like waiting for a turbo from you know who. sometimes people have great products for our cruisers, but when it comes to running a business it, they aren't that great. I currently run slinky but wouldn't hesitate to run Dobinson's or anything that Delta VS carries.

the springs were made by dobinsons, the shocks by icon. dobinsons stopped making the tapered coil springs during covid as they were quite expensive to manufacture. icon stopped making steel body shocks and moved to aluminum body shocks, and in this process eliminated a number of SKUs, some of which were the longer body shocks which the slinky kits used for their "long travel" setups.

also, as mentioned, they were difficult to get. the brand was well recognized, but the business model was challenging.
