Been a rough week in my house. Caught a bad flu and still fighting it off. Unfortunately, it’s probably better to sit this run out. Wishing for a fun and safe run for all those who make it out. :steer:

Seems to be going around, better safe than making it worse with cold camping. We will catch you on the next one Joe.

I heard either:

4_sons Chevron on the north east side of I-17 and Carefree Highway. - Time??? 7:30 departure

or

Flagstaff at the ConocoPhillips travel center at 7180 US-89, Flagstaff 86004 - 10 AM

It may be better to just have everyone meeting in Flagstaff to avoid having a long train of slow trucks. This will allow each person to progress at their own rate..

7:30 departure from 4-Son’s to arrive in Flag near 10

Since we are staying in areas close to these towns I’m listing the weather outlook for these to give everyone an idea of how to pack.

We will likely run the Burr Trail Sunday, Robbers Roost area on Saturday, this should keep us in dryer areas and slightly warmer. Still will be scenic and memorable without too much mud and snow.

While not what I would call the flu I've a upper respitory problem for week. Started right after we picked up a couple of dogs at the pound. One went to another foster home that day. It ended up the vet. The one we are fostering seems fine. So not sure if I have kennel cough or something else. Which bring up the point, if it gets any worse do I go to the doctor or the vet. In any case cold weather would not be a good idea.

I completely understand John, get well. This trip is not for people who may already be a bit under the weather.

I'm ready to go (in that if it's not packed I'm not taking it!). I put the fire ring in but my propane cylinder isn't even half full. Went to get more but the guy at the servo was scared of the rain and wouldn't fill it up. Will try and find some in Flagstaff tomorrow.

What's the 2m frequency we use again? 146.525 MHz?

Made it home in good order. Blizzard conditions coming down Moki Dugway. The decent was uneventful thankfully. Got to Flagstaff around 8:30. Near Munds Park area heavy snow was falling and sticking. Hope you guys get through safely Monday.
