Ya... That is probably true... That's without counting fuel to Ontario and backPfft. You've spent more on transporting Andy than I've spent on a cruiser![]()

For most of the years I was building mine there wasn’t money for both. Fortunately, I’ve never been a fan of beer. All my spare money went into my 40.Old Saying....
I spent all my money on Beer and Land Cruisers, the rest I just wasted.
I was an alcoholic for 38 yrs. I'm 10 yrs sober. I speak from experience. I have 2 almost mint land cruisers and a cabinet full of booze. For most of the years I was building mine there wasn’t money for both. Fortunately, I’ve never been a fan of beer. All my spare money went into my 40.
As a kid my father had problems with alcohol… so I’ve chosen not to drink. Besides when your annual income is $12-14k, putting money into the 40 meant reducing the food budget. I feel like I made the right choice… besides if I were to start drinking, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t stop.![]()
I’m not sure where the cabinet of booze fits into the equation.I was an alcoholic for 38 yrs. I'm 10 yrs sober. I speak from experience. I have 2 almost mint land cruisers and a cabinet full of booze.
Man the s*** I would have if I wasn't eternally house poor...
It funny I have an ad saved for a unimog with an enormous bucket and excavator mounted on it (enormous is an understatement), 90% sure I saw it in the first episode of this crappy tv show I tried watching last night.
Oh don't remind me. My house is a total pain in the ass.I think I remember that one. Wonder if the new owner rented it out for production? Or maybe just purchased outright as a prop? Maybe will get liquidated again at some point....
I thought finishing my mortgage would offer financial freedom. But now I'm trying to catch up on all the things my essentially original 1978 house needs (mortgage kept me poor enough I was deferring what I could). Roof/windows/doors/kitchen/bathrooms etc. should set me back for a good 10 more years. LOL. Never ends!
Sorry to hear man. At least he's giving tons of notice. With Bs south of us a lot can happen in that time. Maybe house market correction I hope.Well I've been renting for 12 years and the landlord came by yesterday and gave me a 2 years notice that he's going to sell it. I've tried to buy this home many times off of him. Now its more than twice the price..... Lots of swearing!!!!
There's options.

It's a "rare" original colour that was only in production for two years. Painting it a different colour would probably "devalue it". Not a colour I'd choose. It sounds like it has always been garage kept and has only been driven for a year or two here or there.Nice car but damn, that colour would cost a bunch to change.
