Hey everybody! Let’s see if I can revive this thread. The BP-51s and 2722s I ordered are here and hope to have the install scheduled for Monday.

What’s the run down I need to give the tech before install? How do I avoid the chirp? OEM rear washers to replace ARB lip washers? Loctite short bolts on rear? What else to make sure this is a flawless install?

P.S. Love my BB step sliders. Highly recommend.

That is correct on the washers. There are lower and upper washers and make sure none of them being used have that inner lip. I also put a 1/8" synthetic washer on the top so that it would tighten down good. It's a squeak not a chirp.
The rest was straight forward, that was the only unwritten trick.
Some people put a 10mm OME yellow spacer ring on the rear right spring to level it right to left.
Measure the height before and after, center of axel to fender lip.

Thanks for the tips. Do you happen to know if that OME spacer is the OME80PR10 trim packer? That seems to be all I could find.

Yes that is the one. FYI the left and right rear springs are different. They are marked.

I have a few questions, I have a 21 LC200 and ordered the OEM front 10mm spacer. I went to have it installed and was told that it would not level out my truck and I should buy a more expensive part they have in stock (4wheelparts). Would the OEM spacer actually have fixed my low front end?

Secondly, I am a huge fan of the factory ride on the vehicle but would like a lift. I see most really like the OME BP51's. How would this compare to an Icon Stage 4/5 kit?

The OEM yellow spacer is for leveling out left to right on a vehicle. It is not for leveling front to back if you are trying to raise the front of the vehicle for some reason.

I have not driven the ICON so I can't compare those 2.

I have the OEM 10mm front spacer on my 2013. It does raise the front about .75“ so it is not completely level to the rear (I have my 3rd row removed) and leaves a little front rake to account for loading stuff in the back. That cushion for load in the rear is why I personally wouldn’t go higher in the front. If your 2021 is a Heritage then you might be higher in the back stock than my 2013 anyway, maybe that is why the suggested a larger spacer. Or they are just tying to upsell you…

Also, on rear
BP-51 stem hardware.

The first couple years came with correct hardware. Then out of nowhere, BPs went from only having one washer with a lip, to two washers with lips.

Notice the factory stem that has only one lip washer. This is critical, because if you put two miles washers up in the frame, the lips mash, but the washers remain with some standoff.

So if you don’t reuse some of the factory washers, or call ARB, you’ll hear a metallic band sound every time you go over a bump. That the two lipped washers slapping the frame.

I let ARB know a couple years ago, then again a year ago, so they are tracking. But I still keep having these incorrect fit kits show up. I just have ARB send me the correct hardware, and everything is good to go.

Thank you for this post, my squeak/chirp is gone! ARB sent me this kit once I sent them a video.

However once weighted accordingly, things will adjus

I’m getting ready to do an OME 2” lift with medium springs and UCA’s. I’m planning to keep the stock wheels as you did here. Any rubbing with the 275/70/R18’s Toyos?
