factory Winch

Been a while now. I am very interested in mounting a winch in the OEM location and buying the oem cover. I am into the OEM look as you might have guessed by now. The thing is, from what i've seen, the aftermarket winches mounted in the original location seem to be lower mounted than the oem, and makes me wonder if the cover would fit over it. Has anybody tried this before? any suggestions?

reviving an old thread. dos anyone know where i can replenish leaking fluid from this winch ?
