Factory Toyota 8 Track Question??

I just scored one of these over the weekend and was wondering if my '82 Toyota mini has the wiring in the harness to hook this up or will I need the pigtail to splice it into the harness? I know in the second gen trucks most of the accessory items wiring were pre built into the harness regardless of options. Wondering if this is the same with the 1st gen trucks? I'd love to get this working.
 
You WANT to use the 8-track? Hmmm. OK. From what I understand that most if not all of the options were dealer-installed back in the early 80s, I'd say no. Look under the dash... is the wiring there? If you have a FSM, it may show in the wiring diagram.
 
OK I like it, actually. Still a bunch of 8-track media out there.
 
Back in the day there was a speaker fitting kit that had the speakers, covers and speaker wiring harness. There was also a vehicle specific fitting kit for the deck.

I didn't get any speakers or covers. I'm going to contact the guy I got the player from and see if he will give me that section of harness so I can plum it into my harness. I'd really like to get it working to blow the minds of "The Millennials" I know.
