Anyone know who I can ask about making up a pair of custom quick install & remove shelves?

My better half & I love sleeping in the back of the FJ80, and on this trip really been thinking about making a pair of bedside shelves to hold mugs, bear spray, insect repellent and the battery powered candles we love. There’s a perfect space for them right where the 3rd row frame is as you can see in the pix below....

PS: the bed as we use it, head out when it’s still & warm, head in otherwise.

How about something that hangs off the headrests? Just hang a daypack on the back of each seat.

Not so handy on the nights when the head is out in the stars. The shelf will work perfectly for both sleeping dire actions

Would some ply wood and plumbing pipe/ elctrical conduit saddles work to clamp a shelf to the seat bracket?

With the bracket that normally clips to the seat bar, it's easy to add a shelf to the top. Mine is ugly.

Done, I did it as a ‘conversation’ as I couldn’t see a pm tab.

Not sure the size you’re after, but google image had a shot of ones Ken Hanna / Hanna Quality used to do when he vendored sliders, bumpers, etc.

He’s long quit making, but there was a set FS in the classifieds here 2-3mo back.
