I wish so bad I could make this trip. Unfortunately I will be wrapping up at a work conference near the northern end of the peace trail (Laughlin, NV) on April 3rd. I'll see if I can pull off some sort of miracle and get there. The 11am start in Salome is helpful ;)
Hey I changed the start date you can make it now.

Seriously doubt I'll make this now. Graham's school closed (like everyone else's), and Sarah's teaching her class online. No way she's letting me go for a week while she's sheltering in place with a bored 3 year old.

Hate it. I was looking forward to this trip.

Why don’t you bring him?

Ron, I’m going to do to be doing the the Adopt-a-Trail clean up and work part at Mt Ord on the 4th. I would like to meet up with you at either your first night camp site or your second, have you settled on specific sites and are you ok with people trying to catch up? @Otter @brices123 and a few others have expressed interest in going after the Mt Ord work.
I don't know that I'm up for a week in the truck with him. He's good for maybe 4 hours a day or two. Not sure how he'd do for longer that many days straight.
I can understand that. I remember that phase.

I think it's a pretty fluid situation for everyone unfortunately. It seems to change by the minute. As a public school district "essential staff member", I am expected to be at work and/or on call until further notice:confused:. Obviously my conference prior to the trip has been cancelled. We'll see....

Since Peru banned everyone from entering their country, my trip to Peru was cancelled. So it looks like I'll be joining you guys on this trip.

I really hope we don't have to cancel this! We all need the dirt therapy o_O

You guys are making this sound like a fun substitute for the normal Presidents Day Overland that was missed last month. As long as (*or even if...) Martial Law isn't established in the next few weeks, I'm in.

Does the route leave the confines of the Great State of Arizona? Makes a difference for my shooting plans,

The route stays in AZ the whole way.

I really hope the cities won't enact a measure stay-at-home but it seems very plausible right now.

Hints of a federal stay home order coming soon. All bars restaurants and other places idiots are still crowding will be forced closed, etc.
