I did some math. If everyone in UC (literally all 15_? members) gave about $35.00, we could buy his 80. We could do a HAMOM on it and sell it back to him for a dollar when he's out of the hospital and running trails again. Any thoughts? Or, is this a utopian idea?

From the MS club corner!

This is my story and I'm sticking to it (since it sounds alot like the one 2 months ago)....
I'm feeling better daily, and have dropped an additional 15lbs totalling 60lbs all together and everyone complains that I eat like a bird.

What happened this time:
Mold was in my Cerebral Spinal Fluid, yes, mold! Only 2 other patients at UAB have ever had this strain of mold and they never made it out of the Neuro ICU... I'm not supposed to die in a hospital apparently. The docs were not expecting me to get past 100 days and no one was telling me that news, the ole "Don't tell the patient he's dying but let the family and friends know routine"
Well, just like my 80 series at a jeep event with on lookers saying he doing that?... in that?... well I conquered the mold! Bad part is that the 2 medicines in the world that can subside it are kicking my butt and I will be on them for a minimum of 3 months.

Your support has been nothing short of amazing! I get choked up when I tell people about how my friends that I spend all my vacation time with throughout the year have helped me with expenses. I can not say thank you enough.
