In the words of Beno " That was Epic!" and Mastercard " Priceless "
1. The Tree run itself was beautiful, lots of great views and we got an awesome tree. 12 dollars
2. The successful rescue of a vehicle and its driver from a seemingly disastrous roll was an amazing display of teamwork and skill. Free extraction Labor, $$$$
expensive repairs
3. The nightmare drive up La Bajada hill back to Santa fe avoiding every idiot that cant drive. Alot of 4 letter words
After 14 hrs(epic in duration as well) Jonelle and I have our tree, a great story, and a few battle scars! Meeting a great bunch of people and an awesome introduction to High Desert Cruisers. Priceless
Hope to see you guys soon.

Thanks guys,

The drive back up I25 to Santa Fe was the worst part of the whole day. The carnage on the hwy was crazy. Everything else was great!

just getting out of La Cueva was sketchy. my tow rig and trailer tried to jack knife once. I caught it quick with the trailer brakes, but kept my hand on that brake for several miles after that. I can't imagine what I 25 was like with all that extra traffic!

alot of single file driving on a 3 lane highway. I was very impressed with 450's handling and how sure footed it was. La cueva was sketchy too! David and I started towards Los Alamos , but decided to turn around a follow you guys out.

the interstate was terrible. We left sunny Bernalillo after a quick bite with Ashleigh driving. She regrets that, since the conditions got so bad. She did fine, probably drove slower than I would have, but no troubles. Everyone was creeping along, I was surprised. Even the 18 wheelers. Several cars off the road, lots of flashing red lights. Cerrillos Rd in SFe was solid ice.

I'm glad you enjoyed the trip Kent. You need to post a pic of your carnage on the xmas run thread :)
