My ex wife was a shorty too and had difficulty getting in. Installed a Con Fer glove box grab bar just for her. 25 years later she's long gone but I still have the bar, it really does help passengers get in and out.

Not helpful ones.... but, I bought a FZJ80 with a 4" lift and 35's with no running boards. Getting into the 40 is a cakewalk in comparison now.
Installed the SOR over the door handles years ago for my 5' nothing wife. She made do and was able to grab that handle, but was a stretch.
Being she likes riding in the 40 more and more, I just installed this old Confer unit to help her even mo-better. Yes, it wasn't pleasing to drill two added holes into my dash, but the previous owner added the AC, thus two added holes for the AC knobs.
