30% more HP is significant and certainly achieved mostly through a smoother, higher rev. Once the 1fz HG has been updated properly reliability is very solid.
 
I’m only super-fluent in OBD2 1FZ speak, and this is a task you’d either need a crashed ‘95-‘97 FZJ to rob the rest of the parts from to make this financially a feasable swap.

I’d either take up that 3FE offer or just mothball it until you can research & do a quality swap of a motor you desire for your needs.

As is, that 1FZ isn’t worth the squeeze for the juice, simply put.
 
If you had an FZJ80 parts truck sitting right beside your FJ80 and a full shop of tools with welding equipment and you were proficient in wiring - then yes, it could be done at reasonable cost. But man, you would still be crazy.
