Engine paint scheme...what do you think?

Personally not my thing, I have enough "must-do's" to worry about the underhood appearance. Plus its not my DD, so it's always dirty anyway. It's all I can do to wash the outside.

Whadda rainbow thread we have here.. purple, orange... what next? Mine's going to be very simple ( just the valve cover and nothing else ) either black chrome or wrinkle black.

good effort not sure on the color, you could match your shocks or springs with the orange though

You gotta be careful on those exterior colors...

I don't have to look at the engine every day. I do (and so does everyone else) have to look at the exterior.

I am planning some exterior "tricks", but I'll keep that to myself till I get down the road a bit with the project.

Update

Outside looking pretty crappy now, so is the radiator. Used the great Rustoleum bronze hammered finish on the radiator, shroud, and center of the grill (where it was grey before). I may use the same stuff on all those things that came black, and are faded out now. Roof rack, Edges of windows, wiper arms, etc, and the bumpers. I'm also going to experiment on the wheel "windows", starting with the spare.
