what will the process be for shipping them to us, will all the orders go to Boston first then ship to us?

that is what i've heard. I plan on driving to Beantown and picking my chit up to save further shipping costs......

although, i think that it goes to Boston only if it is an Airfreight. Have we even decided if it is going A/F or S/F??
 
When I sent in the order, I asked Ehsan for to give me an option for both Air and Sea shipping.

On a related note, I got an IM from pportmd. He is in the process of sending out the goods on the last group order. He told me to expect the following additional charges:
"custom charges, warehouse and transport charges, then there are box and packing supply charges and UPS/DHL charges to final destination."

The shipping charges on the US side we expected. The others, we did not. He charged a 17% premium on top of the cost and still came up $220 short. I will get more details on this as soon as I can.


If anyone wants to drop out due to escalating costs, now is the time.

I would have expected everyone to know about these extra charges even though they were not flat out discussed... I will be driving to boston to eliminate some of them.

But someone from the west coast should have expected to pay for the boxing and shipping of their items..
 
With the price of gas nowadays, and the mileage of a cruiser, I don't think it pays to drive anywhere to pick anything up now.

I'm in, we are still getting somewhat of a discount, no matter what, and it is a better product over the alternatives, for a little extra cost.
 
where is everyone coming from...maybe we could help each other out by sharing a ride (tops) to get closer to final destination.

i.e. Boston >>> PA >>> Ohio >>> Kentucky >>> North Carolina, etc.

I know there are 2 coming to my hometown.

p.s. Im in Kentucky
