EGR Temp Sensor Test Plug

Clarification needed. If I plug this test plug in, will it throw a CEL if the EGR monitor never goes ready? Or will it remain off if the EGR never goes ready?

Engine light will not be triggered. The 1ohm transistor will fool the ECU as though EGR is functioning.
