Hello All,

Posted this in Parts-Wanted before I noticed the specific section for JDMs and Diesels.

I am looking to pick up a spare ECU. I know that they are tough to find, especially this particular part number (89661-60250), but I'd really like to have a spare as mine conked out and is currently being repaired in Japan. The only ones I have been able to find are in Russia and not sure about that. I will be posting my truck spec and photos to the 70 Series Tech page shortly. I really would like to get my LC back in the mud.

Hi - I have a spare that was repaired and working fine. Car now sold so if anyone wants to make me an offer for the ECU will consider it. Am based in Kenya, postage will probably be around $70 on DHL.

I've recently successfully repaired one of these for a Canadian KZJ78 owner, and am willing to repair another if needed. The cost depends on how damaged the ECU is. On the last one I repaired, the dielectric leakage from the capacitors had completely eroded the copper traces/pads/vias on the circuit board. The repair was fairly involved. (I'm an Electronics Technologist, and work on electronics for a living). Won't have time until late January though.

Hi GTSSportcoupe i have got a second hand ecu 89661-60250 with the tipical problem of capacitors, i have remplaced all capacitors but i have checked it in my kzj78 but doesn't start the engine, the spill valve doesn't open the fuel. I would like to have it like second unit for emergency. Could you help me to check it please?
