Really?? I think you still are missing something.Yeah. I got It. Wooosh the snorkel blew off....
Ok. Well thanks for the help. The snorkel is done.
Cut the air inlet nipple on the Chinari snorkel and then some 3m two sided tape on back of the snorkel eyeball it and press on to fender. You'll be done in 15 minutes and have almost as much benefit as those that cut holes in the fender, same cool factor too.

Looks good, gotta get rid of those running boards though.![]()
I know! I've been wanting to get rid of them since I got it. Now I want to get rid of them even more but with the wife and two small children it's hard for them to get in. I am starting to think I will leave the running boards on until I get rocker guards.
We have several guys in AZ that collect them free off CL our other members that removed them and treat them like sliders. When they are too bent up, swap on another donor. Seems to work well for them.
I wouldn't say extra protection, more like damage multiplier. First one that comes to mind is @NLXTACY old thread, think it was about reversing.... I mean losing control backwards.......That's good to know. I was hoping I'd get some extra protection with them still on until I get rocker guards. I know rocker guards are important, they're important just not high on the list just yet.
Hungry Valley trip and the things I learnedI will have to try and find it? They actually caused more damage?
