Looks pretty decent
Could you take a peek inside and tell us how wide the tubes are?
QUOTE]

Ill get you a pic if the core in the next few days. On the highway this morning my average temp was 185 down from 188.4 (obd2 reading) from last week. Not a huge difference but im ok with it, I needed a new rad anyway so this one will do. Its cooling a 5.3l vortec by the way.

How's the fuel mileage and torque on tha Vortec?:hhmm:

Got a plastic tanked radiator for my 94 80 series from this same seller on Ebay for $72 plus shipping. Haven't installed it yet but it looks fine.

I just bought the 92 fj80 all aluminum one too along with a $28.00 fuel pump with free shipping. I put up pics of the core as soon as I get it.

Toywilly, Crackackala and anybody else with the aluminum radiator, can you guys post pics with it installed. Wanted to see what it looks like installed. Thx...

heres 3 pics of the core. 3 rows of about 1/2" tubes. will be installed today after work.

on second look they're like 3/4" tubes

I'm heading out of town for 10 days on Saturday. If I don't a chance to post some pictures beforehand I'll try to remember to do it when I return. It's a two row radiator. The picture in the Ebay ad is accurate:

I bought a "2 row" radiator from this company but I doubt it's going to make it into the engine bay. Mine is only a 1 row core and it's only 1.25" thick. I'd have to go home to look at my OEM koyo radiator, but it seems like the core is almost as think as the tank. I'm going to contact the seller for a return because this is definitely not the "2 row" radiator I ordered. The made in china sticker at the top of the tank doesn't exactly make me confident it's quality either.

OTOH, the aluminum 3fe tank looks to be of good quality. But buyer beware of the 1fz radiators.

........crawls away crying with his tail between his legs after trying to save a few bones on an aftermarket radiator.:crybaby::crybaby::bang::bang:

Hmmm? Mine is definitely a 2 row radiator and the core is as thick as the tank. Sounds like they sent you the wrong one although the auction is the same as mine. I actually ended up calling the company and purchasing mine on the phone because I had a problem with my paypal account. I haven't installed mine yet, but the only problem was a bent up end on one of the transmission cooler lines so I swapped in one from the old radiator. The box mine came in had the number 7284A on it in large letters.

Just installed the radiator but haven't attached the hoses yet. The metal frame which holds the radiator was 1/4" too wide to fit between the two side bottom mounting ears so I cut a couple of slots and bent section on each side back out the way. Should have been 30" but it was 30 1/4" Not a big deal.

Anybody got pics yet installed?:bounce:

Thanks

not exactly the cleanest....i know....

Sweet.. Havent had any problems with it so far. It been lower 90's down here for a couple of days. I havent driven it for over 20 min's or so. Maybe ill take a trip to SPI next weekend and give it some highway time. Installation was a breeze. I was suprised everthing matched up.

I wish they made one of those for the 1FZ, it looks like it's a good quality radiator.

Update: I sent my radiator back to them. They claimed there was an error in the ad and will supposedly give me a full refund including shipping. We'll wait and see, so far their customer service has been reasonable to work with.

That's funny because mine had 7284A written on the box too. That was also the part number on the invoice. Either they were trying to pull a fast one or their manufacuturer made a mistake, most likely the latter.
