I will kick in some money to some end I suppose. I am working on one of my out buildings right now ~$350.00 and taking bids for an AC system (~$to damn much). So, I flinch at big numbers right now. You know, numbers like $1.95....

Charles, I'll PM you. Paul

OK, I talked with Paul about these and I took a closer look at his '55. He has an early dash but it had the late dash cap on it which had me confused so he has an early dash to use as a pattern. He is going to look at making a cap out of fiberglass for the older dash only since I told him the newer one is readily available.

The newer dash cap he has looks really good with the grain pattern and all. I thought it was from the states but when it's pulled off you can see the raw fiberglass underneath (dash caps from the states are smooth on the back side, at least mine was for my '76).

The dash cap, as we talked about it will cover the old dash c/w a drop down that goes around the "Land Cruiser" emblem and tailgate switch.

How many folks are TRULY interested in the early cap AND are willing to pony up cash to have one made? If there are enough interested folks out there and we make a run you can expect probably a 2 month delivery. Shipping would be out of either Houston, TX or Savannah, GA assuming we can get container space.

Charles, I'm still in for 1 maybe 2. Paul

Charles, not sure if it would help/work but maybe we should start a thred in the regular section, to check demand, see who else might be interested, for a #, after the proto type is made.

Paul

I'm in, let me know what kind of $$ I can throw your way to help.

Charles; would it help if we send cash up front like we did with the tailgate gears?

Lou

No, we're just waiting on the fibreglass guy to move onto our project.

Charles

I am definitely in on this, quantity one. Let me know what I can do to help cash etc. Thanks

Carmon

WOW, that's purty! Nice work.

Charles are you still organizing this? or do we need a new person to be the go between so we don't inundate Paul with requests.

Charles is taking care of it..if he has not frozen to death,,
email him or pm him..
Next week starting on a roof and gutter kit and A piller repair section. for the 55.
Paul.

For the dash cap, how much to [STRIKE]Michigan[/STRIKE] Indiana?

(sometimes, I forget which state I'm living in. I think it's the state of oblivion...)

I'm all in for this, it looks awesome. I'm also excited about the gutter/roof patch kit, as at least 10% of my gutter area is shot. Thanks!

Brian

Get ahold of Charles, cruiser_guy, it'll be way cheaper to do a bulk shipment to the US, than to do individual pieces.

OK folks, stay tuned, we are trying to work out a cost for a group shipment to the states. PM or post here if you are TRULY interested as the number of folks asking will reflect the discount. If you post up wanting one and then back out you'll drive up the cost for everyone else. We need to get a realistic count of interested folks.

Charles, Put me down for 2. Paul
