Considering swapping my 1972 front bench for earlier seats without the middle seat back bit that houses the evap assembly. Anyone have a set of early seats kicking around the garage? Prefer local. Thanks!

Dude! Just ditch the evap and pull the one retainer bolt and you’ve got an instant drop down armrest/drinkholder! There are pivot pins already on both sides of that center section for just that purpose.

We should chat - I have a shameless copy of the Karma Cruiser in mind Ditching the evap is part of the plan.

I was just in there looking and it could be as simple as ditching the evap and pulling both sections before heading out on a trip (alone of course).

This all started as I was doing an inventory of camping gear and trying to decide what to do with my fancy Therm-A-Rest Mondoking sleeping pad. That would be mighty comfy on a platform, I thought. Hmm. (3 hours of rabbit hole later....)

I have a nice set, although they’re in west TN.

Thanks - I saw your set in the classifieds - those are very nice, maybe too nice for my rig lol. But I will definitely keep them in mind!
