Sam,

You'd really like this trail. It's hard as nails but your truck would do OK. Mike's did.

Get to work on your truck. Small things start adding up quickly and before you know it, you have a long list of thing todo. The best approach is to takle them as soon as they pop up.

Regards

Alvaro

I know and I have been biting away at it, but it's tough with school back in the mix. I also don't have the proper tool i.e. grinders, welder, etc in order to redo the mounts so I'm waiting on a time to correlate with the guys who have them. Ian wont stop talking about this trail. I'll have to do it sooner or later.

lowtideride,

I think you are right. However, I don't remember hitting something as hard to take the steering wheel off my hands. But I did find a scratch mark on the drag link ( I've been calling it tie rod, that's wrong. The tie rod is behind the axle.).

I'll ask around about the hydro assist.

Regar

Thats what I mean, if it would have jarred the drag link that hard to break the sector shaft you would have felt it big time in the steering wheel.

I have bent a sector shaft prior to hydro...I was still on 35's at the time as well.

With hydro there is no more fighting the wheel. Which means not nearly as much stress on the box.
