Is this better than the stainless tray? Will an optima battery fit the sor one
I don't know for a fact that they wouldn't, but it looks to me like his dual Optima tray has clamps on the bottom to fit the weird shape of the Optimas, whereas the Odysseys are a more conventional rectangular shape.
This looks like it could be a good option! Mild Steel.

I just realized these are mild steel not stainless so I adjusted the comment above.
I have not purchased one yet. I bought a Red Top and after the install realized they are much shorter than the typical battery and my top bracket runs out of thread to hold it down. Trying to decide if I should get one for a single battery with the intention on installing a second battery later on. They also have some clean aluminum battery trays on ebay that attach to the bottom of the battery which would be nice to get the rods and clamping bracket out of the way.
Optima should come with a spacer for the bottom to increase the height so it fits in the factory spot?
