Not yet; still waiting on him to make a tray for dual Odyssey batteries (which he told me several years ago he would consider doing). He has a super good reputation though - everyone I've ever known that bought one of his trays was happy.

I would like to find one if the old manafre dual battery holders. Installed on in my 74 FJ40 30 years ago and still works great. Does any one make them like manafre did?
I installed the stainless dual battery tray last year in my 74 40. Great product, easy install. Though I did have to relocate the charcoal cannister... no big deal.

Anvil could you get a pic of how it is installed? Does it use any of the stock battery tray or the bolt holes that mount the stock tray?
I'll get a picture of it later today. The stainless tray uses the stock bolt holes and stainless bolts are supplied. Mine came with a stainless/ nylon nut... I cross threaded the nylon... would rather have stainless nut and lock washer. Other than that, I'm very happy with the tray.
just returned(and they gave me a new one) a Diehard Platinum 34M today, it died at around 2.5 years. I have a real Odyssey(1700) in my 100 series, its almost 10 years old. For the most part I am going back to normal batteries like the Kirkland brand(I have one in each 45 that are 8 years old) I have another Diehard that was bought a month after the 1st in my 60.....expecting it to die soon(hopefully before 3 years)
bitching aside, I think the key to the AGM battery life is use, if you use it(like in a daily driver, like my 100) I think they last longer than say a weekend 40, even if hooked up to a battery tender. I also think the Diehards are not as good as the real Odysseys, pretty sure I will never buy one again. I would buy another Odyssey if needed

when I did duel bats in my 1982 40 10+ years ago, I did not want to move stuff around or drill holes, so I took a stock tray and made it bigger so I could fit 2 of the smaller 1200 Odyssey in it. Set up worked great, think the 1st battery lasted 6-7 years, I replaced it, then the other original died about 2 years latter, that's when I went to the single Diehard 34......like I said it lasted just 2.5 years(and I drive the 40 allot and it has a tender on it fairly often) Now it has big Kirkland marine in it. Not sure what I am going to do with the group 34 I got as a replacement today...I may put it back in the 40 or ?

Are you talking about the 4Plus dual battery tray?

it had a 1x1" angle iron at the bottom the size of two large batteries end to end then a top that was also made of 1" angle iron and the two halves bolted together batteries were solid no movement what so ever unlike a 1/4" bolt clamp that they sell now a days.

I guess I will just buy the sor one and put sears die hard batteries in it? Thoughts any one?

does the 4plus fit a 76 FJ40 with 2f engine with all the smog stuff on it? Or is the sor dual battery better. I do like the 4plus because the manafre the iron going around the top of the battery gets really too close to the battery terminals.

now I don't know what is better the original I was asking about (stainless Steel), sor, or the 4plus but cant find where to buy it if its still made?
We haven't made any in quite a few years. Even when they sold well a good year was five units. Can't tell you about the fitment in the '76 without moving anything. Has anybody really memorized the layout of all the 40 engine bays?
I had one, but it wouldn't fit after I moved my alternator to the passenger side for a PS swap.
