Replaced my CV Axles and did the differential seals at the same time. Looks like I goofed on the driver's side as it's now leaking.

The driver's side was much easier to insert than the passengers side which I thought was odd. In searching on what I did wrong, I came across this video where Timmy notes a special install tool. Apparently, the seal is only supposed to go in partially to a lip whereas I think I drove mine all the way in. He notes leaks if you don't oblige.

In the video description, he provides a link to the tool which is $120. I'd rather not pay it or wait if I don't have to. Is this tool required to get it correct?

Nope! I used a 3/4" oak stick, before getting Joe's (witends) made the IFS seal install tool.
