Sorry, as I'm not very familiar with 60-series and this may been already addressed, but if you can help me I'd much appreciate it.

What years and models of the 60-series had Double Cardan driveshafts?

I need such driveshaft, but so far I'm keep getting to standard slip ones everywhere I look. I'm sure that I've seen Double Cardans on 60-series front ends, just can't recall what model and year it was on.

Models with H42 Non-spacer transmissions have DC driveshafts.

That is what I have. So anything 1984 and older should have them. Possibly some early 85's (the spacer transmission was introduced sometime that year)

Looked at Tom Woods option, but I'm in Canada and shipping here is terribly expensive. I thought I can get one from the yard and salvage it. The problem is that I don't know exact year and model which had this shaft and so far I.m finding only regular shafts.

So '80-'84 for the year. What about models, FJ60, HJ60?

Personally I can't speak for anything but FJ60's :frown:

Someone will come in with an answer. And make us all look silly! :p

I got a front DC shaft off a Toyota mini truck. I had the same bolt pattern and just needed the tube cut off and lengthened by a local driveshaft shop.

Correct me if i'm wrong,

Europe and general country´s every BJ, FJ, and HJ from 80´to 87´with a 4 speed mtm.

USA and Canada every BJ and FJ from 81`to 84`with a 4 speed mtm.

Does the Mini Truck has 60x68 flange pattern?

Can aftermarket replacement be found such as Spicer for CV? I know many other are interchangeable with Spicer. I run Spicers on my '05 4Runner on stock driveshafts.

I found the front DC shaft for my 70 series at G&S (another Canadian source)

It was however made from a DC 60 shaft I believe... Fixed my vibration issue so I was happy! It sucks all the trucks didn't just come with it, it does concern me finding replacement u joints for it, but hopefully that won't be for a good while!

Attachment doesn't work.
