I have not drilled and riveted mine in yet-and I am leaning toward sika; BUT, I'll have to do some more work on the doors presentation factor before committal...I hope this is useful to some one...I think I will be happy with it for now, heck, it's better than nothing

forgot about the clips....they come with metal clips every so often which will have to be removed for the rivet/clip/glue install...I am going to investigate what it will take to use the supplied clips by making the factory 55 clip holes into larger diameter/and slotted... stay tuned...

HOLD THE PRESS/PUT that drill down...

OK...factory felt rail with clips installed... re-install clips bending as needed onto the 60 series felts; the ones that came with them...CLIP THE 60 SERIES FELT to the 55 SERIES FELT RAIL, and install new felt...I'll show ya later OR maybe in the am.....

Both sides installed...passenger is clipped to the 55 felt molding and that in turn is clipped to the door utilizing factory hardware. Drivers side did not clip together as well....so I marked the 55 factory felt molding where the holes in the door were in relation to the felt molding slots, transferred those marks to the 60 series felts and drilled holes to install the 55 clips thru and then into the door. the drivers side is GOOD. just bite the bullet and drill the 60 felts to match the door clip hole pattern from the word go. some poly will secure the leading and trailing flaps. I will buy 2 more or the same to use as inner felts as well...

FWI Pablo RockAuto has that same window scraper for $32 (PN: FAIRCHILD Part # 137127X3). Depending on how far you have to drive it may be worth it, plus you can get the inners and window channel through them too.

Alright, I took the day off (since my Birthday was this week) and drove down to Denver and bought the Pig some presents...

Heather at B-D was very cool, very helpful. These guys rock!

For the outer window felt, I went with the WEA/75001371: http://www.b-dco.com/ecom/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1822
It had felt on the side that wipes the window, so I hope it fits well.

I went with a very similar bulb seal to what Ige listed, but there was a p/n 1364 that was similar size, lower price. STA/75001364

$52.25 for a 24' coil. She sold me a 12' coil, and I only need about 4' for the vertical around the tailgate opening. I'll trim and install and then if someone else can use some, let me know!

For the weatherstrip that goes under the bottom of the tailgate opening, we spec'd out AUV/4742: http://www.b-dco.com/ecom/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1214 Looked like a good match to what was on there

I did not go with the dense tee rubber for the cowl seal. The area that would adhere is so narrow, I think it would fold over and fail. She gave me a sample of D-seal WEA/CS104: http://www.b-dco.com/ecom/shop/item.aspx?itemid=304 that I will try for size when I get a minute.

Tucker, I think I ordered stock from Restoration Specialties, but I bet it is the same material that B-D stocks, I probably just paid more for it.
I bet if you troll through the B-D catalog you will find it.
When I get home I will look it up. Right now I am on vacation with family and just reading MUD on the phone.

OK, got my driver side window belt installed. I drilled holes to match the original clip locations and used a dremel to clear off felt/rubber around the hole. This was necessary for the clip to protrude far enough through the belt into the door to get a good hold, especially with the inner felt. Everything's working fine though it is a bit on the tight side when rolling down the window.

I also tried to use this for the outer tailgate weather strip and was able to get everything installed and looking good except that the window would bind about 3/4 of the way up. I think using the window belt that is 3/8" wide instead of 1/2" would put less pressure on the glass and prevent some, if not all, of the binding (also would ease up the pressure on the door windows). It could be something you could adjust out in the tracks too, but I didn't try that. I'm going to give it a shot in a week or two. It's not as good as the repro tailgate rubber, but it'll do in a pinch and looks clean.
