Big Dog=Big Turds.....just sayin...
So true--but the bigger turds are easier to see in the lawn when you are scooping the shiz. Little turds = shiz on the bottom of your shoe.

jack russell's are a lot of fun with tons of character, don't eat much and don't take up much space.
I'd 2nd the recommendation on not getting a dog. I'm worried about you wanting a dog that would "rip someone's face off." That statement alone makes me think that you are not ready for a large aggressive dog. A dog should not attack anyone unless commanded by it's owner. A guard dog is supposed to warn you of an intruder by barking, no by ripping the intruder's face off unprovoked. What if your gf, aunt, uncle, mom or dad came over one day when you weren't home and your dog decided to rip their face off. You'd feel like a piece of **** wouldn't you? And the dog would be put down. If it was someone you didn't know, like the cable guy, you'd probably be sued for everything you own.
Yeah, I understand where you guys are coming from, here's basically where I'm at regarding all of that.
Decided not to get a gub, I am very, very good with dogs, and inside and out any dog I got would be under my complete control (assuming I'm awake, which is where the defense part comes in). Personally for all the times you see a pit bull put down because they got out and killed someone's cat or something, I believe it is the owner that should be put down, because it really isn't the dog's fault.
The reason I want a very protective dog is that I recently moved into a new house, and have heard people trying to break in. Also there is a guy that owes my mother $160 grand or so, and has made threats toward her etc. We're in the process of suing him.
Hopefully I don't sound like some sort of crazy-ass creep >.<
i would recommend adopting a dog thats already full grown and needs a good home, get a large breed, i love my bull mastiff pit mix!
this way you don't have to deal with the puppy phase, and you can help a dog in need of a good home.
I found Zip after someone tossed her out of a moving car, first i wanted to track the guy down and kick his ass but i stopped and picked her placed her in the Cruiser and that was 10 years ago, she goes every where i go in the Cruiser and I can always count on her wanting to go for a ride. When you find the right dog you will know it. Good Luck

You watch waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy too many COPS shows and must bit flipping crazy if you think you can completely control a dog or any animal for that matter.
That is not how it works. They will die trying to please you but if you piss them off, they will **** on your pillow and blame it on the cat.
When a natural instinct kicks in you have no control over them. I don't care if it is a Beagel or a Pit Bull. Try to train a lab type dog to not go in a swimming pool in the heat of the summer.
If you beat the **** out of an animal they will be scared of you and do what you want just to avoid a beating. When a dog is like this, thier spirit is broken. You can't fix a spirit.
Let the lawsuit take it's course and get an alarm system for your house.
