Does this look right??

Gas pedal linkage at firewall. Having an issue with it revving up to 2k RPM’s when driving. I can reach down and pull the pedal up and RPM’s come back down. Is there a return spring I need to replace or what?

Upon looking I found that this plastic bushing was out of the hole. What holds this in place on the backside?

should be a spring there

the bushing in the firewall bracket, should be a rubber grommet not a plastic bushing.
there should be a spring in the carb pic, there should also be a spring on the foot pedal.

Yep thanks. Now I just need to find that spring. Where or how can I get one? What about the grommet? Wonder why it’s a plastic bushing on this one?

no springs sorry ......


however , i WILL have them in less the on month from my shop maker , i am shooting for stainless steel too , but all that jazz comes down to being able to offer it up at a resonable amout within reach of all fj40 and fj60 2F carb owners ..........

if you follow me ?

so no promises on stainless yet

but H#LL yes springs are coming in approx a month
