Does anyone know when the 2020 Heritage Edition will actually hit dealers?

My Heritage Edition grille came in today. I will install it on my '16 LC 200 tomorrow morning and post pics.

Are you getting the HE?? Or are you just going to update your 2016?

Actually, I am going to get a 2020 LC but not the Heritage. I have 3 kids and need a third row seat sometimes. I am getting @Eric Sarjeant to build me an LC similar to this color scheme wise and rim wise anyway.

But I’m updating mine in the interim

Did you get the Chinese version or OEM? If OEM, where did you order it from and how much was it? I had the one from China for about $100 on my 16LC. Thinking about doing it again for the new 2020.

The problem is if it isn’t, you get water in a very expensive headlight assembly.

There are companies that will do it for you and one would hope their experience means more reliable reassembly. Maybe look one of those guys up. I know someone posted in this forum their white late-model 200 that was built as a mall crawler specifically.. they did a ton of carbon fiber trim pieces and blacked out the headlights. It’s been a while so maybe you could get some feedback from them. It looked bad ass overall.

That was me who did the white LC with blacked out headlights and carbon parts. I had Lightwerkz do my headlights, but similar to what Eric posted, I am also getting an error that they did not own up to. Only comes on with headlights on and not with daytime running lights...annoying. Considering ordering the HE blacked out headlights just to get my wife off my back...she's complaining that I modified her brand new car and it throws an error every time she drives it at night. They look amazing and have no leaks or fogging up, so that part is great. If I could just bypass that error, all would be great and would save me a few grand in new lenses.

OEM. Eric. I ain’t saying.

Unfortunately, they went to install my grille and it was the same grille I already had . . . not the Heritage Edition grille. So we will be handling that issue and then I will eventually post pics.

I doubt the Heritage Edition-specific parts will be available for sale separately to the general public... at least, not yet.

Toyota first needs to put out a PANT bulletin deciphering and delineating availability of the parts and their differences.

These parts will most likely be manually allocated (read: controlled) by VIN and situation warranting the need for the part.

That makes sense.
With only 1200 being made I doubt they are going to be pushing out mass inventory of the various Heritage specific parts.

So far, I have ordered a HE grille, which @Eric Sarjeant said was available. I also ordered a HE floor mat for the rear cargo area. So, dealers seem to have access to them.

Did Eric sent you the wrong grille or was that someone else?

I am so confused. You have a 2016 LC. You’re ordering a 2020 LC (non-HE). So, both have 3rd rows. And you need them because of kids. All makes sense.

But why are you ordering HE floor mat for the rear cargo if you have 3rd rows??

I am sorry you are confused.

Eric sent the wrong grille but apparently it was Toyota. He used the correct part number. He is getting the correct one.

I got the HE floor mat because what I really use is one third row seat. On my 2009 LC, i just left one third row seat in at all times. But it looks bad in the floor, etc. So I am going to take the HE mat, and I am going to use a knife / box cutter to cut out the holes for the right third row seat, and remove the left third row seat.

Plus, it was only $62.00, so if I screw it up, it doesn't matter.

Regarding my 2016, my brother is buying it from me, so that is why I am still fixing it up.

I have been on this forum for 10 years and owned 5 200s. You are the most antagonistic person on here, FWIW, in that time. Have a nice day.
