There shouldnt be a problem at all.
I see 60 series wheels on 40's all the time and a 40 and 55 are virtually the same. Of course the 55 is longer , but it should work.

If the rear drum has a phillips head bolt in the face of it, take that off and you can run the 60 wheels. If you leave that phillips on, it will make the wheel wobble and break wheels studs.

Thanks! I can use a compliment now and then. Cruisers are a hobby, but maybe aI should look at changing that...
