Thanks man. Yeah, stuff on f-book goes pretty quick I find.
The deals sure do. The only exception is when someone’s description is weird and you can only figure out what it is from the pictures. Then I’ve given a low offer and got it because I was the only person who enquired.
The unfortunate thing is Marketplace’s organization is terrible. Someone I’ve gone back to look for something I’ve seen an add for and it’s very difficult to find. UsedVic is way better, but Facebook seems to have more people who don’t know what things are worth and just wanted them gone (sometimes they are asking way more than new… but that’s another story).
Oxyacetylene set $200. Couldn’t see the brand, but my exchange tanks exactly like those were $500 for the pair.

I offered asking price the moment I saw it. It was pulled down within minutes…
Don’t know if it was a scam, some lucky guy got it, or if the sellers got so many offers to buy they pulled it down.
Said it hadn’t run in a couple years… but I’m sure it would’ve been worth fixing. For $100 it would be worth having. As I’m typing I’m wondering if they pulled it because they missed a zero.

Anyone looking for a small mig should consider the Everlast units, they are pretty reasonable and good support. Think they start around $500
That’s probably why the big one has been showing up for a few days.

Yes I do know of the Arkdroid. I follow A youtube show called "Grind hard plumbing". Yes the name sounds very gay but they are super entertaining and make some insane custom offroad vehicles.
