Got it, I thought the final was going to be welded plate joints. Either way they look great!
Thanks. Yeah, that would take some time! I do have a new aluminum machine coming! It should make the welding process pretty easy. This is the demo weld I did with profile pulse.

Technology continues to make fabricators lives easier! Gone are the days of stick arc or TiG for anything aluminum!
Yeah tig is fun but slow, the price would likely have to go up $200 plus if it were tig welded. But yes the technology for aluminum welding has come a long way.

Alright guys, skids are finalized and aluminum suppliers are in place!
I will update the first page with details on the plates.
Whoever is ready to buy please pm me with your PayPal info, contact info and if you are in for the 3 or 4piece set.
The price on this run will be $1000 + shipping uncoated. I prefer to ship uncoated but coating may be an option.
The 4th skid will be free fo current of future front dissent bumper owners.
We will just have to go with the honor system for this. Please do not order the 4th if you have no intention on running the dissent bumper!
Estimated completion on the first run is by the end of June. I am only doing aluminum on the first run.
I will need to place my aluminum order in the next week to lock in the price, your price will only be locked in if payment is received before I place the order, after the first order the price will likely increase around $200 for the set.
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer in a timely fashion.
Thanks again for the overwhelming support!
Ben.

Great. While I've got you, Do I need a new bracket for my bumpers to accommodate the body lift or do they have enough adjustment built in?

Any idea on price for just the mid and belly plates in aluminum? Or are you willing to sell an incomplete set like that? I get it if not, but I already have a front skid.

After the first run I will, for now its most cost affective to nest the entire set together so that is how I'm able to keep the cost down.

Understood, thanks. I'll keep an eye out but if you'll post something when you're willing to sell just those two, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for all you do for the 100 community! Your welds are art.

Now to figure out how to justify this to the :princess:...:hmm::cautious:

I think Skids are almost as important as sliders maybe more because they are protecting moving components not just sheetmetal ...... check my undercarriage and compared to my sliders!

edit: check my undercarriage just sounds wrong

I am intrested in aluminum kit I have a factory bumper. I also have white knuckle sliders. Will those play nice or do I have to modify?
