Disabling the AHC and AVS systems, no warning lights.

Disconnect the battery for 30 min.
Fixed it by disconnecting the batteries! I left them disconnected for about an hour, and when I hooked them back up, the warning was gone.

Thank you so much for the help! It’s a huge relief to lose that "limp mode" feeling of driving a rig that isn't at 100%. Plus, it's great to finally have my center display data back.

Just as an update, I've finally managed to clean up the AHC error on the 2016 LX570 with King shocks. a few things I found out:

1. the headlights in 2016 use full canbus for managing the beam leveling and receiving input from the steering wheel stalk (save for the turn signal).
2. the Headlights ECU needs to "see" the AHC ECU and receive input from the AHC height sensor to be able to determine the auto beam leveling.
3. removing the AHC ECU will trigger a "fixed" error light on the cluster for the headlight leveling ECU and unless the AHC ECU is connected for the headlights to see the sensor the error light will persist. if the AHC ECU is installed, the headlight error light will be gone but the AHC error light will appear.
4. the only way to remove the error light is to have a can-bus emulator emulating the AHC ECU signal to the cluster and Headlights ECU (informing that the AHC ECU is present and sending the height sensor data).

Andrew Todd from AGT Engineering has developed the Canbus emulator for the 2016 up LX570 AHC that can send signal to the headlights ECU making it happy in the absence of the factory AHC ECU. The device is small and easy to install, you just need to connect it to the canbus wire from the AHC (2 cables for can hi and can lo) and also + and - wire (can also be taken from the AHC ecu wire).

so far very happy and no more errors on the dash.

Cheers,
Bonie

Has anyone else with a 2016+ LX used this? If so, any issues?

2016 LX570 – AHC removed (Dobinson)
ECU unplugged, relays + fuses removed
Still have CAN issues (speedo + transfer case)

Looking for AHC CAN simulator for LX570 can you guys give a contact to order the canbus emulator?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear you’re having issues still. What are the speedometer and transfer case doing, or not doing?

I went to AGT Engineering’s website (below) and emailed them for more information about their AHC emulator. They’re in Australia. I’m in Texas. Andrew responded to me very quickly. It seems his solution tells the canbus that AHC is all good and this will remove the warning lights/messages associated with the auto leveling headlights once AHC is disabled and removed.

Edit: here’s what he said exactly:
“Yes have sold a few AHC emulators. These are a tiny 1”cubed module with 4 wires. It is wired to the wires where the original AHC controller was, with the wire colours matching the Lexus. This module removes the warning lights from the dash for the AHC and the headlamp level errors (makes it think it is in the normal height position).”

I’m not sure if this will remedy your issues or not. If you speak with Andrew via email, please share what he says about your issues and if his product will help or not. It would be hugely appreciated.

Yes i try everything but the model before 2016 so on line doesn't work i still have all the checks engine low gear doesn't work and Speedometer also diferenciales lock also! I will send him mail because looks like it's a only solution, to much electronics in our car 🤦‍♂️
