I'd hesitated to post up earlier for fear of jinxing you. Congrats Johnny! I'm really impressed with everything you guys accomplished. I hope to see it in person soon.

Thank you everyone for your help with this project! Moonshine is truly a Olde North State Cruisers - built truck. Between the body swap last year and the drivetrain swap this year, we've easily got 96 ( single man ) hours into this truck between both HAMOMs, multiplied by 15 or so people at each, that's 1440 ONSC man-hours!!!! This would never have happened had it not been for the extreme generosity of the members of this club and dedication to, as Jerry so eloquently put it, help make dreams a reality.

THANK YOU ONSC!!

Jay, to answer your question, Front clip and title :D

"It's a (80, 84, 86, 87, 89, 94, 97) Toyota Land Cruiser"

I did nothing last night but stand by as Johnny went through his check-list before firing. Just glad I was close enough and able to run over, thanks for the text Johnny.

Here is the link to my video of the event, had to have some back up just in case, this HAD to be documented. I keep hearing something in my head, saying RAW MOONSHINE, it's just friggen RAW!

Just happy to be there to shake his hand on a job well done...

It was fantastic to have someone there to share the excitement with, thanks for coming over :grinpimp:

Sounds like Johnny Cash song?? :)

I built it one piece at a time, and it didn't cost me a dime....

Good Call EOE - I didn't even think of that!!

 R

Congrats, Johnny. Good to hear it run. Can't wait to see it on the trails again.

i got chill bumps when i listened to the music. Is it really that loud in person? You wont even here the PBRs if you put them back on.

Effing awesome. Period.

Thanks guys!

Its pretty loud. Jerry's video is more accurate than mine. When standing over it with the hood open and the throttle opened up, it sounds great, but you really have to try to talk over it.

Last night got the brakes bled, the floor pan welded up, e-brake installed and the driver's seat put in. Would have taken it for a drive had the rear driveshaft not been too long

Yes, in that situation (which should rarely happen), its loud. Yet, you can hear me talk over it without difficulty, uttering "that's a beautiful sound" while you rev'ed it...

Dude, that sucks. Rolling Moonshine is soon to be had...
